Multiple OS in VPS Servers
We provide three different Linux distributions for the Operating System of our VPS servers - Debian, CentOS and Ubuntu. These are among the most stable and reliable OSs on the market and we provide all three of them rather than only 1 as we realize that you might want to set up some software which has specific requirements with regards to the Operating System it shall run on. The latter is due to the fact that each of the three Operating Systems has a vast support community behind it and there're various software programs you can install on the server. Your OS choice will also determine what hosting Control Panel can be set up on the VPS in case you want to use one and because of this we offer several Control Panels as well. In the event you decide that you want some other OS, our technical support can quickly wipe the current one and install the one that you would like. We also offer an optional service to keep the OS on your VPS updated weekly.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Servers
We offer three Operating Systems with our dedicated server plans - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They are all different Linux distributions and we offer them not only because they're totally free so they won't increase the cost of your new hosting server, but also because they are outstandingly secure and stable. Each one of them is backed up by a big community of developers, so you will be able to choose from many hundreds of software packages that you can install on your server if the application that you want to work with has specific requirements. The Operating System will also determine what web hosting Control Panel you can use since the Control Panels that we offer run on particular OSs only and because we would like to provide you with as much freedom as possible, we offer a couple of OSs and multiple Control Panels. If you choose a server with a given Operating System, we will change it upon request in the event that it turns out that you need a different one. We can also keep your OS updated on a weekly basis as a part of the additional Managed Services upgrade.
